Industry Specific ComplianceThe Tea Board India, on January 12, 2026, issued a circular regarding the revised processing Fee for Non-Preferential Certificate of Origin.

The following has been stated: -

•With effect from January 01, 2026, the processing fee for each Non-Preferential CoO above 2 kg of Darjeeling tea is fixed at ₹2,000 plus applicable GST.

•The Certificate of Origin shall continue to be issued through the existing online portal as per the revised fee structure.
