Labour ComplianceThe Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) notified on January 9, 2026, regarding the rollout of the Free Doorstep Digital Life Certificate (DLC) Service through IPPB for EPS pensioners with pending or due DLCs.

The following has been stated namely: -

• The EPFO in collaboration with India Post Payments Bank (IPPB), has launched a free doorstep Digital Life Certificate (DLC) service for pensioners under the Employees’ Pension Scheme (EPS-95).

• Under this initiative, postmen and Gramin Dak Sevaks equipped with biometric and face authentication devices will visit eligible pensioners at their homes to generate and submit the DLC digitally, removing the need for pensioners to visit EPFO offices or banks in person.

• The service is completely free, with EPFO bearing the cost of successful DLC submissions, and aims to simplify and ensure uninterrupted pension disbursement, especially for elderly and mobility-challenged pensioners.
