Secretarial ComplianceThe National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Limited (NCDEX) on January 14, 2026, issued a circular regarding the applicability of Event-based Additional Surveillance Margin (E-ASM) across commodities.

The following has been stated: -

•NCDEX has re-triggered Event-based Additional Surveillance Margin (E-ASM) of 2.5% based on high–low price variation.

•The margin applies to all running and upcoming contracts in Guar Gum and Guar Seed.

•E-ASM will remain effective until February 06, 2026, triggered on January 14, 2026.

•No E-ASM is applicable to other listed commodities; existing margins continue unchanged.
