Secretarial ComplianceThe Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on January 14, 2026, issued a notification regarding Pre-Trade Risk Control – Enhancements for Stop Loss Limit Orders in the Equity Derivatives segment.

The following has been stated: -

•Exchange is strengthening pre-trade risk controls by introducing enhanced checks for SL-Limit orders in the Equity Derivatives segment.

•SL-Limit orders/modifications will be accepted only if the difference between trigger and limit price is within a defined permissible range based on instrument-wise parameters.

•Orders failing this check will be rejected with the message “Stop limit order price range check failed”.

•The enhancement goes live from January 19, 2026, with mock testing available on January 17, 2026.
