Secretarial ComplianceThe National Stock Exchange (NSE), on January 13, 2026, notified regarding the Encryption of Interactive Messages – CA Certificate and Neat Adapter (NA) Update.

The following has been stated namely: -

As stated in the circular, the earlier given CA certificate has a validity of one year. To update the new CA certificate, members are requested to follow the steps below:

• An interim coexistence phase for accepting login via old and/or new CA certificates shall be allowed by the Exchange, after which the existing CA certificate shall expire and be disallowed for login. Accordingly, existing parameters for login via the existing CA certificate shall also be discontinued after such an interim coexistence phase.

• Members using Direct connection via NNF API protocols are requested to take note of the following:

o Kindly download and use the new CA certificate from the extranet path before the expiry of the old certificate (refer Annexure 1).

o Kindly configure the interactive connectivity parameters as provided in Annexure 2.

• For members connecting via NEAT Adapter (NA) and NEAT application, please note that a new version of NEAT Adapter (NA) V1.5 shall be released with relevant certificates pre-installed within the applications for encrypted flow. NA shall perform the verification of the Gateway Router server certificate after a successful SSL connection with the Gateway Router.
