The Tea Board (TB), on January 9, 2026, issued a notice announcing the implementation of an online system for payment of annual membership/enlistment fees by laboratories empanelled under the Tea Board through the Integrated Assessment Scheme.
Under the new system, Tea Board–enlisted laboratories are required to submit applications in the prescribed format along with requisite documents through the online portal of the Tea Board. Upon payment of the application fee, an Enlistment Certificate will be issued with validity up to 31st March of the relevant financial year, subject to the continued validity of the NABL accreditation certificate.
Laboratories must apply for renewal of the enlistment certificate before 31st March each year through the same online portal, along with the prescribed fee and documents. The notice clarifies that these provisions come into force with immediate effect.
