Industry Specific Compliance The Revenue Department, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh on January 13, 2026, issued the amendments to the Andhra Pradesh Distillery (Manufacture of Indian made Foreign Liquor other than Beer and Wine) Rules, 2006.

In the said rules, in sub-rule 4 (ii) of rule 16, the following shall be substituted, namely:

(ii) Liquor Identification Number is LIN/AP/Brand/Batch/Line/Date/Time/DD-MM-YYYY/HH:MM:SS: MS

The Director, Excise & Prohibition, AP, and the Commissioner of Distilleries & Breweries, AP, shall take further necessary action accordingly.
