Secretarial ComplianceThe National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Limited (NCDEX) on January 13, 2026, notified regarding the applicability of Event-based Additional Surveillance Margin (E-ASM) till February 5, 2026.

The following has been stated namely: -

• NCDEX has re-triggered an Event-based Additional Surveillance Margin (E-ASM) of 2.5% based on the High–Low price variation criteria. The E-ASM will apply to all running and yet-to-be-launched contracts in Guar Gum, Guar Seed, and Turmeric till February 05, 2026, with trigger dates of January 13, 2026, where applicable. 

• No E-ASM has been triggered for Barley, Castor Seed, Coriander, or Jeera, and all other margins will continue to apply as per existing norms.
