The Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) on January 12, 2026, issued awareness regarding SPREE.
The following has been stated: -
•On stakeholders’ request, ESIC has extended the SPREE scheme by one month, up to January 31, 2026.
•An awareness program is to be conducted to inform stakeholders about the extension.
•Stakeholders may refer to updated FAQs available on the Ministry of Labour website for guidance.
•Regional/Sub-Regional Offices are instructed not to issue any directions without approval of ESIC Headquarters.
