Industry Specific Compliance The Government of Andhra Pradesh on January 13, 2026, issued amendments to the Andhra Pradesh Brewery Rules, 2006.

The following has been stated: -

•In the rules, in sub rule 4 (ii) of rule 15, the following shall be substituted namely:

(ii) Liquor Identification Number is

LIN/AP/Brand/Batch/Line/Date/Time/DD-MM-YYYY/HH:MM:SS:MS

The Director, Excise & Prohibition, AP and the Commissioner of Distilleries & Breweries, AP shall take further necessary action accordingly.
