Finance & Taxation Compliance The Govt of Meghalaya, on January 09, 2026, issued a notification regarding the Bonded Warehouse.

In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 44 of the Meghalaya Value Added Tax Act, 2003, the Government has notified an amendment whereby the term “Bonded Warehouse” shall be substituted with “Central Bonded Warehouse.”

The notification shall come into force with effect from the date of its issue.
