Industry Specific ComplianceThe Government of Goa, on January 15, 2026, issued a notification regarding Aadhaar authentication or proof of Aadhaar enrolment for availing scheme benefits in the State.

The following has been stated: -

•The notification mandates Aadhaar authentication or proof of Aadhaar enrolment for availing scheme benefits, with special provisions for children and individuals without Aadhaar.

•Alternative identity documents are permitted temporarily until Aadhaar is assigned, and the Department will facilitate enrolment support.

•Multiple fallback mechanisms, including OTP, offline Aadhaar verification, and document-based verification, are provided in case authentication fails.

•No eligible child or bona fide adult beneficiary shall be denied benefits due to Aadhaar-related issues, subject to prescribed verification and audit safeguards.
