The International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA) on January 16, 2026, notified regarding the procedure and clarification on the filing of the scheme application under the Third-Party Fund Management Arrangement.
The following has been stated namely: -
• The Authority has streamlined the application process for Registered FMEs authorised to launch schemes on behalf of third parties. Such FMEs shall continue to file applications in the prescribed format and with documents as specified under the IFSCA circular dated April 05, 2024, on Ease of Doing Business, and additionally submit detailed disclosures relating to the third-party fund manager.
• These include proof of registration in the home jurisdiction, ownership and governance details, profiles of board members and key managerial personnel, AUM details and past investment track record, declarations of compliance with Regulations 107H and 107K of the FM Regulations, documentation of the fund management arrangement, disclosures on deal execution, conflicts of interest and remuneration policies, and details of appointment or change of KMPs.
• All scheme applications are required to be filed electronically through the IFSCA Single Window IT System.
