Commercial ComplianceThe Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) on January 16, 2026, issued a notification regarding amendments to Guidelines for Interest Subvention Support for Pre- and Post-Shipment Export Credit under Export Promotion Mission – Niryat Protsahan.

The following has been stated: -

•The Trade Notice amends the HBP to clarify eligibility and operational aspects of interest subvention for MSME exporters under EPM–Niryat Protsahan. 

•Export credit aligned with RBI’s consolidated credit directions qualifies, with support applicable to actual interest cost only, excluding deemed exports and NPAs. 

•Revised subvention rates apply prospectively, and MSMEs upgrading their category remain eligible for three years. Subvention is available only for export credit sanctioned on or after January 02, 2026, with a full annual ceiling applicable for FY 2025-26.
