The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) on January 13, 2026, issued the notification regarding granting One-Year Renewal of Recognition to AMC Repo Clearing Limited
The following has been stated namely: -
• SEBI has renewed the recognition of AMC Repo Clearing Limited as a Clearing Corporation for one year, from January 17, 2026 to January 16, 2027, under the relevant provisions of the Securities Contracts (Regulation) Act, 1956.
• The renewal is granted after consideration under the SEBI (Stock Exchanges and Clearing Corporations) Regulations, 2018, and is deemed to be in the interest of trade, the securities market, and the public.
• The Clearing Corporation must comply with all SEBI-prescribed conditions and restrict its activities solely to clearing and settlement of repo and reverse repo transactions in debt securities traded on a recognized stock exchange.
