Industry Specific ComplianceThe National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Limited (NCDEX) on January 14, 2026, issued the notification regarding the Modification in contract specifications – Unprocessed Whole Raw Yellow Peas (Not for Direct Human Consumption) (Symbol: YELLOWP) Futures Contract.

The following has been stated namely: -

• Modification has been applied to Unprocessed Whole Raw Yellow Peas (Not for Direct Human Consumption) Futures Contract (Symbol: YELLOWP).

• The revised contract specifications will be effective from January 28, 2026.

• The changes apply to YELLOWP futures contracts expiring in February 2026 and thereafter.

• Contracts expiring in January, February, March, April, and May 2026 will continue to trade under existing specifications till January 27, 2026.

• Running and future contracts will also be governed by the Product Note available on the Exchange website under the “Products” tab.

• Members and participants are advised to review the Product Note to understand the product features, trading, and operational processes.

• Annexure Details:

o Annexure I: Summary of modifications

o Annexure II: Existing contract specifications (till January 27, 2026)

o Annexure III: Modified contract specifications (from January 28, 2026)

o Annexure IV: Premium/discount for delivery location differences

• Members and market participants bear sole responsibility to ensure compliance with quality standards, BIS, WDRA, packaging and labelling rules, GST, APMC tax, LBT, stamp duty, and other applicable State/Central laws; the Exchange and Clearing Corporation disclaim liability for non-compliance.
