The Government of Chhattisgarh on January 14, 2026, issued the Chhattisgarh Private Universities (Establishment and Operation) (Amendment) Act, 2025 to further amend the Chhattisgarh Private Universities (Establishment and Operation) Act, 2005.
The following amendments have been stated:
• In the Schedule of the Chhattisgarh Private Universities (Establishment and Operation) Act, 2005,
o Serial number 13 and entries relating thereto shall be omitted;
o After serial number 20 and entries relating thereto, the following shall be added, namely :-
"21. Columbia Professional University, Raipur (C.G.)”
