EHS ComplianceThe Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) on January 17, 2026, issued the notification regarding the Steps to be taken for the Invocation of actions under Stage-IV (‘Severe+’ category AQI >450) of schedule of GRAP.

The following has been stated namely: -

• In response to the deteoriorating Air Quality, the Sub-Committee on GRAP has proactively invoked Stage-IV (‘Severe+’) actions with immediate effect across Delhi-NCR, in addition to existing Stage I–III measures.

• Under Stage-IV, entry of BS-IV trucks into Delhi is stopped, except those carrying essential commodities/services, LNG, CNG, Electric, and BS-VI diesel trucks are permitted. 

• BS-III and below diesel trucks registered outside Delhi remain completely prohibited, even for essential services.

• All agencies must strictly implement and monitor Stages I–IV of GRAP, intensify enforcement, and citizens are urged to comply with the Stage-IV citizen charter.
