The Industries & Commerce Department (Mines-II), Andhra Pradesh, on December 29, 2025, issued amendments to the Andhra Pradesh Minor Mineral Concession Rules, 1966.
The following has been stated: -
•The amendments expand the scope of the Rules to include Railways alongside NHAI across multiple provisions.
•References to “NHAI,” “NH Works,” and “NHAI Works” are replaced with “NHAI/Railways” and “NH Works/Railway Works.”
•The changes apply to Rules 9, 10, 10(G), 28, and 34, covering works, concessionaries, and related procedures.
•Corresponding substitutions are also made in specified clauses of Form-M to include Railway works.
