Secretarial ComplianceThe National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Limited (NCDEX) on January 19, 2026, issued a circular regarding a Corrigendum - Applicability of Event-based Additional Surveillance Margin (E-ASM).

The following has been stated: -

•Based on the NCDEX Surveillance and Trading circulars dated January 14 and 16 of 2026, the Exchange has re-triggered the Event-based Additional Surveillance Margin (E-ASM).

•The action follows a significant High–Low price variation in Guar seed contracts. An E-ASM of 2.5% will be applicable.

•The margin applies to all running and yet-to-be-launched Guar seed contracts until February 05, 2026.
