The National Commodity Clearing Limited (NCCL), on January 20, 2026, issued a circular announcing the introduction of a new functionality on the NCFE Portal for cash addition under Additional Base Capital (ABC). This enhancement enables Clearing Members to submit online, request-based cash addition applications directly through the portal.
Under the new system, requests submitted by Clearing Members will be digitally routed to the linked Clearing Bank for verification and confirmation. NCCL will extend the benefit of cash deposit only after receipt of confirmation from the concerned bank. Members are required to ensure that sufficient balance is maintained in the designated settlement account where debit authorization applies.
Cash addition requests can be submitted up to 7:00 PM on all settlement days, and detailed operational guidance is provided in the user manual annexed to the circular. The facility is made available on NCFE with effect from January 21, 2026, to streamline and digitize the cash addition process.
