Secretarial ComplianceThe Bombay Stock Exchange Limited (BSE), on January 20, 2026, issued a notice informing clearing members that applications for change in shareholding pattern are now to be processed through the Indian Clearing Corporation Limited’s Electronic Filing System (IEFS).

Under this framework, clearing members are required to submit all requests relating to change in shareholding pattern exclusively through the online IEFS platform. The system provides a centralized and standardized electronic interface to facilitate efficient filing and processing of such applications.

To enable smooth usage of the platform, user manuals for corporates, financial institutions, banks, partnerships, and LLPs have been provided. Members have been advised to carefully study the relevant user manual before initiating any request to ensure compliance with procedural requirements.
