ESIC Information on Outstanding Dues under Rate Contract Nos. 149-153

Labour ComplianceThe Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), on January 17, 2026, issued a communication seeking information regarding any outstanding amounts recoverable from pharmaceutical firms approved under Rate Contract (RC) Nos. 149 to 153, which were valid up to 30.11.2025.

It has been informed that the firms empanelled under the said rate contracts have applied for refund of their Earnest Money Deposit (EMD). Before release of the Performance Bank Guarantee (PBG), all States and Medical Superintendents of ESI Hospitals/ESIC Model Hospitals are requested to intimate whether any amount is due against any of the approved firms, along with reasons for deduction, if applicable.

The required details are to be furnished in the prescribed proforma, institution-wise, and submitted within 10 days of receipt of the letter, through email at [email protected] in both PDF and Excel formats, to facilitate recovery or adjustment at Headquarters level prior to release of PBG.
