The Andhra Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (APERC), on January 8, 2026, issued an Errata to the First Amendment to the Andhra Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (The Grid Interactive Solar Rooftop Photovoltaic Systems under Net/Gross Metering) Regulation, 2023, notified as Regulation No. 10 of 2025.
The Errata clarifies that although the Commission, in its Statement of Reasons Order dated December 4, 2025, had approved modifications to Clauses 16.4 and 16.7, the corresponding amendments were inadvertently omitted from Annexure-II (Finalised Regulation). To rectify this omission, the Commission has formally substituted the said clauses through this Errata.
Revised Clause 16.4 provides for monthly adjustment of energy exported under Net Metering for Non-ToD consumers, including provisions for multiple rooftops of a single owner and group/society-based SRTPVS installations, with pro-rata adjustment as per installed capacity. Revised Clause 16.7 specifies that for ToD consumers, energy settlement shall be carried out in accordance with the illustration provided in the Annexure to the Regulation.
