The following has been stated: -

•IFSCA proposes new guidelines to regulate algorithmic trading in IFSC stock exchanges to ensure market integrity, transparency, and stability.

•The framework mandates disclosure and approval of trading algorithms, tagging of Algo orders, and accountability through audit trails.

•Robust risk management, surveillance, kill switches, and system audits are prescribed to prevent market manipulation and system failures.

•Public comments on the draft guidelines are invited by February 11, 2026, to balance innovation with systemic risk safeguards.
