EHS Complianceclass="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC) on January 06, 2026, notified regarding the Right-of-Way (RoW) requirements for the construction of 800 kV transmission lines in the forest areas.

It states that pursuant to the recommendations of its Advisory Committee meeting held on December 02, 2025, the Right-of-Way (RoW) of 69 meters for 800 kV transmission lines shall be applicable for assessing forest land diversion. The clarification confirms that the 69-meter RoW will now be considered while determining forest land diversion requirements for the construction of 800 kV transmission lines in forest areas.
