Industry Specific ComplianceThe Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on January 22, 2026, notified the Reserve Bank of India (Urban Co-operative Banks – Cash Reserve Ratio and Statutory Liquidity Ratio) Amendment Directions, 2026 to amend the Reserve Bank of India (Urban Co-operative Banks – Cash Reserve Ratio and Statutory Liquidity Ratio) Directions, 2025.

The following has been stated: -

•RBI issued Urban Co-operative Banks (CRR & SLR) Amendment Directions, 2026, effective immediately.

•The amendments align with recent Banking Laws and regulatory changes notified in Dec 2025–Jan 2026.

•References to development financial institutions have been expanded and updated across paragraphs and annexures.

•Mentions of Industrial Development Bank of India are replaced with NHB, SIDBI, NaBFID, Exim Bank, and other notified institutions.

•Reporting formats are revised with new wording, inclusion of IDBI Bank Ltd., and addition of Standing Deposit Facility deposits.
