Secretarial ComplianceThe Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on February 13, 2026, issued the notification regarding the Update on Pre-Trade Risk Control–Limit Price Protection in Equity Derivatives Segment.

The following has been stated namely: -

• The Exchange has revised the Limit Price Protection (LPP) framework for BSE SENSEX options, modifying earlier exchange notices.

• Change on Expiry Day:

o LPP remains 40% of Reference Price,

o Minimum absolute value reduced from ₹20 to ₹10,

o Applicable only on the expiry day (currently Thursday).

• Non-Expiry Days:

o Existing framework continues:

o 40% of Reference Price subject to minimum ₹20.

• The revised ₹10 minimum will apply to all SENSEX option contracts on the expiry day, irrespective of their individual expiry dates.

• The revised framework will be effective from March 12, 2026, with mock testing scheduled for March 7, 2026.
