The Department of Finance, Government of Goa, on February 13, 2026, notified regarding the Specifying Districts, Wards, and Large Taxpayer Unit (LTU).
The following has been stated namely: -
• The State of Goa is divided into three districts—North Goa, South Goa, and Kushavati—which are further subdivided into eight wards based on specified talukas. Additionally, a separate Large Taxpayer Unit (LTU) is established to exercise exclusive jurisdiction over eligible registered taxpayers across the State who meet the prescribed criteria.
• This order shall come into force with effect from April 01, 2026.
