The Government of Kerala, on February 17, 2026, issued a notification regarding the renewal fee for registered Veterinary Doctors in Kerala.
The following has been stated: -
•In exercise of powers under Section 48(1) of the Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984, and Rules 27 & 28 of the Kerala State Veterinary Council Rules, 1991, the Government of Kerala has fixed the renewal fee for registered veterinary doctors.
•Veterinary doctors listed in the Kerala State Veterinary Register must renew their registration before April 01 of the relevant year.
•A renewal fee of ₹15 is payable every five years.
•Failure to renew within the stipulated time will result in default and removal from the Kerala State Veterinary Register.
