The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) on February 20, 2026, issued a notification regarding the launch of facilitating Logistics Interventions for Freight & Transport (LIFT) under Export Promotion Mission (EPM) – NIRYAT DISHA.
The following has been stated: -
•The Support for Logistics Interventions for Freight & Transport (LIFT) under the Export Promotion Mission – NIRYAT DISHA is implemented with immediate effect to assist MSMEs in low export intensity areas.
•The scheme aims to reduce freight and logistics costs arising from geographical disadvantages and infrastructure gaps.
•The detailed Policy Framework, Operational Guidelines, Governance Structure, and application procedure are provided in Annexures I–IV.
•The intervention will be launched on a pilot basis, and stakeholder feedback may be submitted within 30 days as per FTP 2023.
