The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), on February 17, 2026, issued the amendment extending implementation Date to February 23, 2027 under Bureau of Indian Standards Notifications.
The following has been stated:-

• Ref no. HQ-PUB013/1/2020-PUB-BIS (1015) dated 27 August 2024 (Published on 05 September 2024) and HQ-PUB-BIS (1179) dated 06 March 2025 (Published on 19 March 2025):- Sl No. 02, column (5) of schedule — Substitute ‘23 February 2027’ for ‘23 February 2026’.
