The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) on February 17, 2026, notified the date of establishment and withdrawal of the Indian Standards related to Dental Scissors, Straight and Curved.
In the following Indian Standards particulars, the Dates of Establishment shall be February 04, 2026 -
• IS 5211:2026 Dental Scissors, Straight and Curved — Specification (First Revision).
• IS 5212:2026 Dental Crown Scissors, Straight and Curved — Specification (First Revision).
• IS 10353:2026 Dental Mckellops’ Type Pliers — Specification (First Revision).
In the following Indian Standards particulars, the Date of Withdrawal shall be August 04, 2026: -
• IS 5211 – 1969 Specification for Scissors, Dental No. 1, Straight and Curved on Flat.
• IS 5212 – 1969 Specification for Scissors, Crown, Dental, Straight and Curved on Flat.
• IS 10353 – 1982 Specification for Pliers, Mckellops’ Type, Dental.
