The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) on February 20, 2026, notified regarding the launch of Support for Integrated Support for Trade Intelligence & Facilitation (INSIGHT) Under Export Promotion Mission (EPM) – NIRYAT DISHA.
The following has been stated:
• The scheme aims to strengthen exporter preparedness—especially MSMEs—by addressing information gaps, procedural challenges, and institutional capacity constraints.
• INSIGHT provides support for export capacity building, district and cluster-level facilitation, trade intelligence and digital knowledge systems, as well as research, innovation, and pilot interventions.
• Financial assistance is generally capped at 50% of project cost (with specified monetary ceilings), while government entities may receive up to 100% funding.
• The scheme will operate on a pilot basis, with applications invited online and stakeholder feedback sought within 30 days of the Trade Notice.
