Secretarial ComplianceThe Multi-Commodity Exchange Clearing Corporation Limited (MCXCCL) on February 23, 2026, issued a circular regarding Custodial Participants Trade Approval.

The following has been stated: -

•MCXCCL has modified the auto approval process for Custodial Participant (CP) trades.

Auto approval will stop once a CP’s margin utilization reaches 90%, requiring manual approval by the Clearing Member (CM).

•If a CM’s margin utilization also reaches 90%, the CM cannot approve trades until it falls below this threshold.

•Members and market participants are advised to take note of the revised margin-based approval controls.
