Secretarial ComplianceThe National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Limited (NCDEX) on February 23, 2026, issued a circular regarding E-ASM on Turmeric Contracts.

The following has been stated: -

•NCDEX has re-triggered a 2.5% Event-based Additional Surveillance Margin (E-ASM) on Turmeric based on high–low price variation criteria.

•The margin is applicable to all running and yet-to-be-launched Turmeric contracts till March 17, 2026.

•The trigger date for Turmeric is February 23, 2026, under the 5-day movement criteria.

•All other existing margins will continue to apply as per current regulations.
