The Andhra Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (APERC) on February 19, 2026, issued the Draft Second Amendment to the Andhra Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (Terms and Conditions for Tariff Determination from Renewable Energy Sources) Regulation, 2025 (Regulation No. 6 of 2025) to amend the Andhra Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (Terms and Conditions for Tariff Determination from Renewable Energy Sources) Regulations, 2025.
The following has been stated: -
•Clause 2(1) (z) of the Principal Regulation shall be substituted with the following:
A renewable energy with storage project means a combination of renewable energy projects with storage or a combination of renewable hybrid energy projects with storage at the same or different interconnection point(s).
•Clause 2(1) (aa) of the Principal Regulation shall be substituted with the following: Renewable hybrid energy project’ means a renewable energy project that produces electricity from a combination of renewable energy sources connected at the same or different interconnection point(s).
