The Department of Horticulture, Government of Rajasthan on February 19, 2026, notified regarding the mandatory Jan-Aadhaar Authentication for the Horticulture Subsidy Program in Rajasthan.
The following has been stated:
• The notification requires every eligible individual seeking benefits under the scheme to furnish proof of possession of a Jan-Aadhaar number or undergo Jan-Aadhaar authentication.
• Individuals who do not yet have a Jan-Aadhaar number shall enroll before registering for the program. Until a Jan-Aadhaar number is assigned, benefits may be granted upon submission of the Jan-Aadhaar enrolment slip along with any one prescribed identity document, such as a PAN card, passport, voter ID, ration card, MGNREGA card, driving licence, bank/post office passbook with photo, or other specified documents.
• In cases where biometric authentication fails, alternative methods such as One-Time Password (OTP) authentication or verification through a physical Aadhaar/Jan-Aadhaar card with QR code validation may be used.
