The National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Limited (NCDEX) on February 24, 2026, notified regarding the applicability of Event-based Additional Surveillance Margin (E-ASM) till March 18, 2026.
The exchange has re-triggered Event-based Additional Surveillance Margin (E-ASM) of 2.5% on Coriander contracts due to significant price volatility measured through the High-Low variation formula (High−Low)/Low×100(High-Low)/Low × 100(High−Low)/Low×100. The margin will apply to all currently running contracts as well as contracts yet to be launched in Coriander until March 18, 2026.
The trigger was activated on February 24, 2026, based on price movement thresholds. No E-ASM has been made applicable to other listed commodities such as Barley, Castor Seed, Guar Gum, Guar Seed, Jeera (including Jeera Mini), and Turmeric (except Turmeric showing applicability till March 17, 2026, where mentioned).
