The Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, on February 25, 2026, issued a circular regarding renewal of Licences under Delhi Excise Rules, 2010 for 2026–27.
The following has been stated: -
•All M&TP Branch licence/permit holders must apply for renewal via the e-Abkari portal and pay the prescribed fee by February 28, 2026.
•Delayed applications may be accepted with 25% additional fee before expiry, or a double fee after expiry, with approval of the Excise Commissioner.
•Applicants must submit complete details and required documents within 7 working days, failing which applications will be rejected.
•The Government may revise licence fees, and any revised fee or penalty for late payment will be recoverable from licensees.
