The following has been stated: -

•Rule 2 lays down various definitions of the terms like Chief Executive Officer and Custodial institutions.

•Rule 3 specifies the Constitution of the State Authority, namely, the State Mental Healthcare Authority.

•Rule 4 specifies Appointment of non-official members.

They shall come into force from February 17, 2026.
