The Government of Delhi on February 25, 2026, issued order for renewal and grant of new HCR and M&TP licenses for licensing year 2026-2027.
Approval has been granted to renew existing and issue new Hotel, Club and Restaurant (HCR) and Medicinal and Toilet Preparations (M&TP) licences for the licensing year 2026–2027. The licences will continue on the same terms and conditions that applied during the Excise year 2025–2026.
Concerned departments have been directed to issue the necessary circulars for implementation of these renewals and new grants under the applicable excise framework.
