Commercial Compliance The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) on February 23, 2026, notified regarding the rationalisation of the RoDTEP rates.

It states that with immediate effect, the RoDTEP rates for all HS lines listed in Appendix 4R and Appendix 4RE shall be reduced to 50% of the existing notified rates, and where value caps are prescribed, they shall also be limited to 50% of the earlier caps. Consequently, exporters will be eligible to claim RoDTEP benefits only up to half of the previously notified rates and value limits from the date of the notification.
