The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MoSD&E) on February 20, 2026, notified regarding the SCVT Qualifications enabled for apprenticeship contract Generation on the Apprenticeship Portal.
It is informed that SCVT (State Council for Vocational Training) qualifications have been enabled on the Apprenticeship Portal for the generation of apprenticeship contracts. Establishments can now engage candidates holding eligible SCVT qualifications in designated trades in accordance with Schedule-I of the Apprenticeship Rules, 1992, framed under the Apprentices Act, 1961. For smooth implementation, authorities have been requested to monitor the alignment of SCVT qualifications with the corresponding designated trades on the portal and report any discrepancies through the ticketing tool or to the concerned Division for necessary examination.
