The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), on February 25, 2026, issued the date of the establishment and the date of withdrawal of Indian standards particulars related to various Carbon Papers for Typewriters.
In the following Indian Standards particulars, the dates of establishment shall be February 18, 2026:-
• IS 1251: 2026 - Zinc Phosphide, Technical — Specification (Fourth Revision).
• IS 1551: 2026 - Carbon Papers for Typewriters — Specification (Third Revision).
• IS 4395: 2026 - Inks and Allied Industry — Glossary of Terms (Second Revision).
In the following Indian Standards particulars, the date of withdrawal shall be August 18, 2026: -
• IS 1251 – 1988 - Specification for Zinc Phosphide, Technical (Third Revision).
• IS 1551: 1991 - Carbon Papers — Typewriters — Specification (Second Revision).
• IS 4395 – 1987 - Glossary of Terms Relating to Inks and Allied Industry (First Revision).
