The Ministry of Finance (MoF) on February 27, 2026, issued a notification regarding the launch of the Government Bank Dashboard & Manual for Stronger Oversight.
The following has been stated: -
•Controller General of Accounts launched the Government Bank Dashboard and Government Bank Manual in New Delhi to improve governance in handling government transactions.
•The Manual standardizes procedures, reporting, reconciliation timelines, and compliance requirements to reduce risk and enhance accountability.
•The Dashboard enables real-time monitoring of KPIs such as remittances, reconciliation, and service-level adherence, shifting to proactive oversight.
•The initiative aims to safeguard public funds through digital integration, stronger cybersecurity, and data-driven performance management.
