The Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, on February 25, 2026, issued a circular regarding renewal of L-17, L-18, L-19 & L-20 Licenses for FY 2026–27 (Delhi Excise).
The following has been stated: -
•The Office of the Commissioner, Excise, Entertainment & Luxury Tax, Government of NCT of Delhi has approved renewal of L-17/L-17F, L-18/L-18F, L-19/L-19F and L-20/L-20F licenses for the period April 01, 2026, to March 31, 2027, subject to payment of the prescribed license and additional fees.
•Licensees must apply online through the EABKARI portal using their EXD ID and ensure legal possession of the premises as per Section 13(1) of the Delhi Excise Act, 2009.
•The annual license fee for FY 2026–27 has been increased by 10% over FY 2025–26 rates, with structured slabs based on seating capacity and liquor category.
•Timely payment is mandatory only base fee till February 28, 2026, 25% additional fee till March 31, 2026, and 100% additional fee from April 01, 2026, onwards, failing which penal action may apply.
