Secretarial ComplianceThe National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) on February 27, 2026, revises Quantity Freeze Limits for Index Derivatives effective March 02, 2026.

The National Stock Exchange of India has announced revised quantity freeze limits for index derivatives contracts under the F&O framework, effective March 02, 2026, in line with its April 30, 2025 circular.

Updated quantity freeze limits:

• BANKNIFTY – 600

• NIFTY – 1800

• FINNIFTY – 1200

• MIDCPNIFTY – 2800

• NIFTYNXT50 – 600

Trading members must update the latest contract files in their systems before the effective date. The updated files and detailed contract information are available via the NSE extranet and official website.
