The Department of Revenue, Govt. of Goa on February 26, 2026, issued the Draft Goa Land Revenue (Record of Rights and Register of Cultivators) (Amendment) Rules, 2025, to further amend the Goa Land Revenue (Record of Rights and Register of Cultivators) Rules, 1969.
In Rule 10, in sub-rule (1), in the Proviso, after Clause (vi), the following clause shall be inserted, namely:-
(vii) Order of reclassification has been issued by the Government under Section 24 of the Code.
All objections and/or suggestions to the said draft rules may be forwarded to the Secretary (Revenue) to the Government of Goa, Revenue Department, Secretariat, Porvorim-Goa, by March 13, 2026.
