Commercial Compliance The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) on February 17, 2026, issued the date of withdrawal of certain Indian Standards (IS).

The following IS has been withdrawn on February 04, 2026, namely: -

• IS 3830 – 1979 Specification for Water Stills for Pyrogen-Free Distilled Water (Second Revision)

• IS 6959 – 1973 Specification for Scissors, Embryotomy, Curved on Flat

• IS 7103 – 1973 Specification for Scissors, Episiotomy

• IS 10976 : 1993 ISO 6440 : 1985 Wheelchairs — Nomenclature, Terms and Definitions (First Revision)
